As expected, keeping up with non-academic tasks has become more difficult than I would like. I've been able to get out a few times with the camera around here. A college campus will a varying degree of architecture is a great place to work and I found it to be even more beautiful at night. I'll be sure to get out sometime when the leaves change. Back in early September, my computer decided that it didn't like photoshop (among other things), so I was stuck without for a month.
I've found recently that I am lacking in the wide-angle department. I've now got the 50mm f/2, 60mm f/2.8, 105mm f/4 and 300mm f/4, but had to go back to using the 18-55mm zoom for wide shots. The aperture level is pretty bad for some of the applications I'm looking at and it isn't the sharpest lens around. Perhaps the 10.5mm f/2.8 if I can force myself to part with $700. I think I may have to start getting more income from the hobby before I can go spend money like that in a good mind. Either that, or I'm attempting to get a medium format camera for some reason.
I strongly dislike spontaneous dance parties at 2 in the morning in my room. The least they could do would be to pick good music. Fortunately, a few minutes of Vivaldi drives them away during the day.
