HDR Example

I recently learned a new type of photography and photo-manipulation called tone mapping or HDR photography. It may not be a new concept, but I find it interesting. This example isn't the best, but I haven't had the oppurtunity to make a full example.

For those that don't know, HDR is a style of photography that merges multiple pictures of different exposures in order to emphasize the highlights, contrast, and shadows. If done correctly, the image will look almost surrealistic because the extremes of each exposure are shown.
